Mobile devices are handheld computers that are meant to be portable. These computers will have a touch screen that allows you to interact with your device using your fingers in the same way you would use a mouse.

There are many mobile devices available on the market including tablets, smartphones, e-readers, and smart watches.

 

These devices come with a variety of core apps pre- installed that allow you to do many things such as word processing, graphic design, photography, etc.  Even though you can do most of the same things as many desktop computers, the apps on mobile devices tend to have more limited options.

 

Most mobile devices come with networking capability allowing you to wirelessly connect to the internet using WiFi or a cellular connection.
